Here is a little update of the preparations for the project in Honruas on the orphanage Emmanuel. But first of all we need a short presentation of our two Danish youth leaders:
Youth leader number one:
Andreas Daugaard, 20 years old, lives in Roskilde, part of Roskilde Baptist Church. Andreas graduated last year from high school. The following year he worked as a baker for six months and after that he travelled to Portugal to participate in a new church-plant. After that he attended a project management seminary in Morocco, and last but not least, he visited Honduras for two weeks in the summer vacation, with a group of young Christians from Denmark. In the future Andreas would like to work with international rights issues, and he therefore wants to study law after returning from Honduras.

Youth leader number two:
Thomas, 20 years old, live in Aalborg, a part of Aalborg Baptist church. Thomas graduated from high school this summer. Thomas’ future sights are that he wants to study physiotherapy. He wanted to be youth leader because he felt that he had a call to take care of young people. And here was the chance to get out and experience a totally different culture and help the youth with his skills.

To get back to what we are doing right now. We are preparing arrangements of different churches and youth associations so we can get out and tell about this project and break down cultural barriers between Honduras and Denmark.
In the end of august our two Honduran youth leaders, Dulce and Jairo, arrives in Denmark. We are looking forward to be full complement and could prepare the last to come out and tell about the project. And hopefully Dulce and Jairo want to talk about the daily life at the orphanage Emmanuel where they grew up. Dulce and Jairo will be presented in the same way as Andreas and Thomas so we can learn a bit more of whom they are.
And out!
