ACIT - Orphanage Emmanuel
Back in 1989 David and Lydia Martinez founded Amor Cristiano International de Tegucigalpa also called Orphanage Emmanuel. Some years before David and Lydia got the vision of coming to Honduras and before starting the orphanage, they worked in the mountains around the capital Tegucigalpa ministering to the people there.
In 1989 they received their first 5 children and since then Orphanage Emmanuel has been growing to become a family, a home and a safe place for the abandoned children of Honduras. Today Orphanage Emmanuel is housing around 550 children and youth in their location in Guaimaca, Honduras
